Meet Our Team
Eric graduated summa cum laude from the University of South Dakota in 2006 and received his Juris Doctorate in 2009 from the University of South Dakota School of Law. In law school, Eric received the top grade in Insurance, Civil Procedure, Evidence, Appellate Advocacy, Commercial Law, Contracts, and several other classes. He also graduated law school with Sterling Honors and was selected as the Lexis Award recipient by the law school faculty. After law school, Eric clerked for the Honorable Karen Schreier, the Chief Judge of the Federal District Court of South Dakota.
Eric joined the firm in 2013 and became a partner in 2018. His practice centers on high stakes legal matters, including insurance-based litigation, high-value personal injury claims, and complex business litigation. Eric is recognized throughout South Dakota as one of the State’s brightest legal minds and most capable litigators.
